Church Planting - Do you believe the Lord is calling you to church plant?
One of our members said to me one day, “Pastor I have heard enough sermons, now I need to do more to serve the Lord!”
God called the Sinteff family to the work of church planting in 1996. Together, as the Lord gave grace, we worked together to plant Grace Brethren Family Fellowship; we later changed the name to Grace Bible Family Fellowship (an Independent Baptist Church). That church is alive and well and serving Christ.
After a short sabbatical from July to December of 2011, our family rested. We put our hands to the plow again and in December of 2011 planted Faith Rest Baptist Church. This local church is an Independent Baptist Church which is conservative and traditional in the life of the church and in ministry. The local church is, by design, a Family Integrated Ministry. Simply, we worship together, serve together and grow in the faith and knowledge of Christ together. This is one of the most enjoyable ways to enjoy the Body Life of Christ.
Is God calling you to a more significant ministry? It takes a special grace from God to work in a new church plant. I am praying for God to send us men, women, and families to build His church in the Cumming area.
